Project_01 — MFR

“In a world of algorithms, vinyl is resistance.”
Visual system for a horizontal collective of 6 co-owner artists. A brutalist identity at the intersection of Factory Records and 70s punk — black, white, red, no hierarchy.

A conceptual label built around a finite visual system: exactly 9 releases, each defined by its catalogue number. The number is the artwork. We treat the digital interface as a physical object. Every element serves a structural purpose. Every void is intentional. Every line is load-bearing.
We work exclusively with independent music labels because we believe that the visual systems surrounding music are not decoration — they are the first and last argument for why the work matters.
We reject the friendly web of rounded corners and soft gradients. We build clinical, poetic, architectural experiences. Silence between elements. Tension between type and space.
Good design should not dominate. It should help. It should be precise. It should be honest.
Estudios Morel. Madrid, 2026.
We work with independent labels that understand that a visual system is not decoration — it is infrastructure.
